Bridal Madanottsava A/W 20
मदनोत्सव | Madanottsava | The Festival of Love
The bride dons an exquisite design, struck by Panchaban, the five floral arrows of Kamadeva. The fabrics on her ensemble blossom in an invigorating essence. She weaves together her heirloom, mesmerised in Manmatha, the God of love who has put her in a trance.
Chanderi, the featherlight fabric weaves air around her silhouette, the white lotus symbolising purity. The fertile Ashoka blooms in the simplicity of Maheshwari silk. Khunn resonates the prosperous mango flower as fragrant jasmine exudes an aphrodisiac in the traditional Kanchipuram silk. The culturally poignant Banarsi causes reflection, as a symbol of tranquility.
The weaves from 5 different states of India, woven into a romantic tapestry narrates a story to be cherished for a lifetime. Madanottsava embodies the potent power of romantic love, an intrinsic quality that determines the flow of this collection.
